A bottle of wine is a drink, a food and an alcoholic drink at once, and each brings its own rules. Oblifee Drinks shows the rules that bind an alcoholic drink specifically, in every market you sell into: ingredients e-labels, sulphite statements, bottler and importer particulars, statutory health warnings with the date each comes into force, and whether a deposit return scheme reaches your bottle. Every rule is cited to its instrument and carries its status.
Producers, bottlers and importers who put alcoholic drinks on more than one market and need to know, before the label is printed, what each market asks of the pack.
The EU ingredients and nutrition e-label, "contains sulphites", the bottler or importer line, vintage and variety rules, and the market health warnings a wine in glass must carry.
Whether a can or a bottle is inside a deposit return scheme, the deposit mark it needs, and the alcohol warnings due in the markets you ship to.
Statutory warnings and their prescribed wording, size and placement, standard container sizes, and the importer particulars a third-country spirit needs.
One cited view per client range, with a sealed labelling check and an exportable dossier when the artwork is ready. Runs inside the Consultant workbench.
The Oblifee brain is a continuously monitored, cited regulatory record. Its alcohol rules are scoped to alcoholic drinks and sit beside the general food and drink rules, so a wine is judged against both. At the 2 September 2026 load it holds alcohol-specific rules for 46 markets; the count on the page in the app is always the live one.
Wine ingredients and nutrition by electronic means: a QR code that carries no marketing and collects no data, with allergens and energy staying on the physical label. Oblifee hosts the e-label as a published product passport, resolving at id.oblifee.com, and the Drinks page shows which of your products has one.
The US GOVERNMENT WARNING, Mexico's leyenda precautoria, Brazil's excess-consumption wording, pregnancy pictograms and national warnings, each with its prescribed words and minimum size. Where a warning is announced but not yet in force the brain records the commencement date and the page counts down to it.
Deposit return schemes were built around cans and plastic bottles. Whether a single-use glass wine or spirits bottle is in a scheme differs by market, so the brain records each scheme rule with the container scope it names. A market where the bottle is outside the scheme shows exactly that, with the citation, rather than demanding a deposit mark the scheme would reject.
The name and address of the bottler or importer, country of origin, protected designation and the 85 per cent rules for vintage and variety, nominal volume with permitted sizes and minimum numeral heights, and the language the particulars must be in.
Oblifee never rounds a rule up to certainty. Each fact carries the brain's own status and its lifecycle (active, upcoming or proposed), and the app shows both on every row. Where the brain holds nothing for a market, the page says so instead of showing a clearance.
The drinks import sheet creates each product as an alcoholic drink, with its classification and its bottle, so the alcohol rules apply from the first minute.
One row per SKU: sku, product_name, abv,
net_volume_ml, vintage, colour, closure,
bottle_weight_g, case_size, and optional closure and case weights.
Each row becomes a product classified as an alcoholic drink, prepacked, with a glass bottle of the weight you gave. No weight is ever invented: a closure or case without a weight is recorded but not weighed until you add it.
Per market: the alcohol elements, dated changes ahead, deposit return scope and each product's e-label state. Then run a labelling check on the artwork, today or at a launch date up to five years out.
